rx7 wheels fall off during autocross

This rx-7's wheels fall off. Apparently what happened was that someone sent him the wrong lug nuts with the wrong threading. They seemed tight until they fell off! Happened on june 10, 2007 dixie autocross

I'm starting to think this thing didn't even have lug nuts on it...or maybe just a few, hand-tight. It's just odd that all 4 failed at the same time. That kinda stuff rarely happens by accident.

I'm not sure I understand how lug nuts caused this. Were the threads wrong? Or maybe the rim & the nuts didn't match? Anyway, that's a damn shame. Awesome awesome car. I wish they'd bring it back, even for just a limited-edition re-run. Even by today's standards, that car still looks stunning.
