CUBA. La República de Cuba es un paÃs del Caribe, asentado en un archipiélago del Mar de las Antillas, también conocido como Mar Caribe. Está constituida por la isla más grande de las Antillas Mayores, conocida como Isla de Cuba, la Isla de la Juventud (antiguamente llamada "de Pinos") y una multitud de cayos o pequeñas islas que rodean a las antes mencionadas. Al norte se encuentran Estados Unidos y Bahamas, al oeste México, al sur las Islas Caimán y Jamaica y al sudeste la isla La Española. According to recent tourist refuges from CubaAfter the two massive storms of the century(hurricanes) that hit the island, all littleinfrastructure that was left after decades ofmismanagement by the government is now totallyobliterated and gone.No drinking water or electric, over 80% ofpeasant housing is lost, concrete buildingsare damage very badly, Not even natureremains the same beaches are eroded away,hotels and tourist facilities are totallydestroy bridges are unsafe or gone.

The UN estimates that the recovery for theimpoverish island nation of Cuba will take adecade or more, and this is just to placethem back in the same poverty level they warebefore they got hit by the hurricanes.And the tourist industry (the main source ofincome), will be nonfunctional for years tocome, gone are many hotels, beaches, cabins,gardens and landscaping, and the hotels orother structures standing are unsafe and mayhave to by knock down all the same.very, very sad..
