I dare you find a black person in the entire video. Doesn't that tell you something? Cuba is no paradise now and it was even less a paradise then. Sure there were plenty of goods available if you had the money and there were elections with direct vote for president, often corrupt, and most people, being illiterate, could not vote. Swollen-bellied, school-less, malnourished children roamed the streets eating out of garbage cans. That "paradise" ended in 1959 but there is much to correct yet.

Thank you for a great comment, and for having sense on what Cuba is really like. Usually, when tourists go to Cuba, they usually come back with very little insight on what it's really like, and say "it's really nice, the people are so great and happy."

I've been to Cuba, as a tourist. And I've seen, from a limited perspective, what Cuba is like. And if you manage look aside from all the propaganda; it is horrible. The one who can't see the lack of freedom is just plain stupid or refuse to see reality.But, in helping Cuba into democracy, I think it is necesary for tourist to visit. It generates money and shows the cuban how they deserve to live.

What kind of brainless logic is that??? So people were well off in the city: THAT IS THE TRUTH IN EVERY COUNTRY YOU DODO...Now EVERYONE in Cuba is POOR..including in the city...THAT IS THE POINT...DUH

You are correct...Havana was not all of Cuba. I used to lived in Camaguey, a colonial city and it was beautiful and we use to live like humans, and now what? Living or better said vegetating like animals without money or food or a roof on your head. Live in Cuba, like Cubans, not just go there and visit.

I'm not Canadian. I'm Cuban,and the truth is that Cubans, after 50 years of revolution, still can't vote, can't travel abroad, can't watch any TV stations, read any newspapers or listen to a radio station that is not owned by the goverment. A doctor earns 200 pesos and has to spend it all in a couple of chickens. It's great to be a tourist! Isn't it, Mr. Canada? U visit what Fidel wants you to see and go back to freedom. While my people fight the sharks inside a raft.Ignorance is scary. Fools!
