Vern and Joes is more in the town of Germanton which is right outside of Rural Hall. I live in Rural Hall and there's not really much here but a bad hot dog place and a depot for the Yadkin Yalley Railroad. Thank you thought for making good videos about North Carolina. :)A good place to visit in Rural Hall is the Nazareth Lutheran Church on Hwy. 65. There are Confederate graves in the church graveyard and a Revolutionary war Lt.Colonel Anthony Bitting whose land was once the entire town.

This is no vegetable garden; this is a real farm. It's hard work, but if you you love food that much, it makes sense. I tried growing my own food this year and screwed up big time. I do have some nice cucumbers to show for it though.Next year I'm planting a big vegetable garden again, but I have it planned better.
