the madness and insanity of man at his worse. wasting millions and millions and millions of dollars while giving the finger to the starving and dying and less fortunate. In any case I guess it's not the racers problem but the stupid auto companies that keep giving these immature folks more and more of my money to waste it on fools going around and around in a circle.

You're surely right. Anyway there's so much to avoid before:wars, slaughterhouses, overconsumption at the supermarket etc. This is something that makes (my) life better. No killing (only yourself in danger), and noble rules. Better than painful horse races (no real horses exploited) will come soon the day when car races are with hydrogen cars...
