Zach Smith of the RepRap Research Foundation wanted to make something cool, so he schemed up a peristaltic pump that can pump liquids without having any parts except the tube touch the liquid. It's made with acrylic, skate bearings, and a few bolts!

That's actually pretty neat and at first from the flip side I couldn't tell how it was being pumped. Very creative. Kudos.
